Interactive Meetings with CaRE Keypad
Add some interactivity to your meetings with CaRE's Keypad system!
Engage your audience by asking questions and getting instant feedback. Meeting participants access an online keypad using their smartphones to answer questions posed by the presenter. Results are tabulated in real-time and displayed to the audience in a clear bar chart. Optionally allow participants to submit short questions back to the presenter.
Beyond the keypad voting, the CaRE Keypad system works as a simple event management system. Schedule all of your event's sessions, and add one or more speakers to each session. Each speaker has their own area for managing their own Q&A.
Event participants access the schedule via an event-custom web link, and can access a speaker with a couple of taps.
Create your free event hosting account and create your event.

Instructions for Presenters
Click here to download an example PowerPoint presentation. You can use it to test the Keypad system and see how it will work for your presentation.
The Event Coordinator will send you an email with some instructions and a couple of web links. The first link will take you to an area where you can create your own questions and answers. Questions must have a multiple choice response with up to five choices. Some pre-populated responses are available, such as "Yes/No" and a Likert Agree/Disagree scale (i.e., Strongly Agree, Agree, Neither Agree nor Disagree, Disagree, Strongly Disagree). You are free to create your own multiple choice responses as well.
The second link is your personal moderator link, used during your presentation. It will take you to a web page that contains instructions to the meeting participants describing how to access the voting questions from their smart phones. You will launch your Q&A session from there.
To use your moderator link, copy and paste the link from the email into your PowerPoint presentation. Put the link on a slide at the point during your presentation at which you would like to begin the Q&A session. Once you begin the Q&A session, you will need to switch back and forth between the Q&A web page and your PowerPoint presentation.
