The image viewer used in the CaRE Arthritis Imaging Portal was created using the HTML5 markup language, and therefore requires a modern Internet browser to work. On Windows-based computers, we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome (http://www.google.com/chrome) or Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) version 10 or newer. On Macs, the latest version of Google Chrome or Apple Safari are recommended.
Most computers manufactured within the last three years or so should have sufficient processing power and memory capacity to adequately run the image viewer. Older computers with Windows XP may have performance issues manipulating the images. If you are experience slow performance when using the mouse controls, try using the directional buttons associated with each control instead.
A minimum screen resolution of 1366 x 768 is recommended, and larger is better. For the best viewing experience, maximize your browser window to fill the entire screen.
The image viewer has been tested on various mobile devices. Newer iPads (like the iPad Air) should work very well when using the Safari browser. Older devices may be sluggish, particularily when adjusting the windowing of an image.
If you encounter problems when using the image viewer, please feel free to send an email to email@example.com describing the issue.
